It's been forever since we've talked as a class or be with each other 'cos we're seperated and we're busy with our own schedules and blah blah blah.

y'knw i really miss primary school, like not the school, but the class. this class. secondary school is just so hectic. and i hope everyone's doing fine. and yes grace, reunion in june is perfect. i mean, its the only holiday we have nearest and i srsly hope we, including yours truly, will be able to make it. god, it's just so difficult for everyone to be free on one day. or maybe not :D

So, making new friends and all is fun but dont forget your're old ones.

Hello 6 hibiscians!

How's life so far? That last post was in 30 Dec 2007, omigosh. The crazy exam period is drawing nearer and nearer... I bet everyone is pecking their books. :D It's a good thing! But remember to get fresh air from outdoors. Otherwise we'll have no childhood. I mean: "I remember when I was fourteen years old, I studied all day. My skin went as pale as a zombie." :O Then something's wrong!!!

Haha. Speaking of outdoors, how does a 6 Hibiscus class reunion sound to you? We could pool together and rent a bowling alley or something. :D Haha. Or we could just pack food and skip to Sentosa and have a HUGE picnic. Somewhere around... June?

YEP. Don't be so stressed out! Enjoy life! It's good! it's just that sometimes the things in life is... urgh. i shall not use bad words. But I digress.

THE LAST DAY OF 2007

Hi everybody.

It seems as if the year just flew by our faces. In November and December last year, we received our PSLE results and laughed and cried about it. We sat down with our parents with the thick book we received of all the secondary schools and to choose between the numerous schools. Most of us went to CHIJ Secondary Toa Payoh, if not, we went to the top 10 schools in Singapore. We called each other (don't deny it!) and tried to find out where everybody else was going. We had to go to the new school and sit down on the white plastic chairs and listen to the principal's speech (and probably not listening to it but scrutinising all your new classmates). It was a hectic year last year and we were half-relieved that it's over that we don't have to worry about PSLE any longer and half-excited to be going on 'to the other side of the court' ;)

And now we've completed Secondary 1 education. All the primary school-goers seem really small now. We no longer gawk at the 'big sisters' but chuckle at the cute small Primary Ones (ok, I admit, I do sometimes). We sweated over examinations, couldn't care less about what date China merged together and blah blah.

But we still met up with each other and had one class reunion and one cancelled reunion. So as we enter Secondary 2, DON'T forget about everyone else and keep in touch through MSN and whatever not! Visit the secondary school (to meet us *wink*) and the primary school (to meet the teachers)! The 6 Hibiscus spirit must still be strong. (does that sound corny?)

Hello people!

It's quite sad to say that practically nobody comes to this blog anymore. It always dies after the year ends. But the class spirit is still there right? Haha. The year 2007 is nearly over. I hope all of you had a great year this year! In 2008, we'll be seniors! Well, not really, but at least we won't be the babies of the school anymore. I don't like the helpless oh-i-am-so-small feeling. It'll be our streaming year though.

This year we'll be saying bye-bye to CBUBU (chloe batchelor. still affectionately known as cbubu, although she won't tell anyone that.) So sad. Make sure you guys get here email!

I really want a reunion soon. ): On teachers' day I couldn't help but remember the fun time we had during last year's teachers' day, what with the impromptu class party Grace & I arranged & the high school musical singalong & dancealong. i swearrrr i miss yer like anything k! i dont even mind going back to the 6 hibiscus classroom w mrs redwan agn :( its like we were so united, though we didn't always show it & even though we had fights amongst each other, i always knew that we would thr for each other no matter what.

and maybe just maybe, if i had treasured those times more, i wouldnt be sitting here thinking abt the fun times we had, the sad times shared. the prizes we won as a class during sports day, the compliments we got from tchrs, the scoldings we got from mrs redwan, the laughter, the tears. they all became part of my life :(

Or how when you are eight years old and everyone automatically assumes that all you want for Christmas is a barbie doll with lots of fancy dresses where you can style it and all that blah blah blah? Well, I just want to share with you and experience which I encountered this girl. I hope you never land in my shoes.

Just so that she doesn't sue me, I'll fashion her name "B" because she looks like Barbie, she wants to be Barbie and all she has and wants are Barbies. I landed on a babysitting job one day during this party with little kids when I volunteered to help this person I know in a camp. I should never have accepted that job. Taking care of miss high-and-mighty B. She was ten years old I think and a COMPLETE snob. She has these big brown eyes and straggly blonde hair and about three barbie dolls in her hands. My friend said that she had no friends and she's new so could I possibly spend five minutes with her and get her to eat her tea (bread and jam)? Yes, I told her, no biggie. No wonder none of the five volunteers went with her.

She has these freckles. So, she was designing a barbie doll by putting dots on her cheeks. "My freckles," she said, "This is me." She had this sickly sweet voice. "Yeah," I say, "Now, would you like bread and jam or bread and cheese?"

B: Bread and jam.
So I fetch it and give it to her.
B: I want it in little squares!
So I did but I get more impatient.
Me: Squares.
B: Yuck! You touched it!
Duh I touched it? Then how was I going to slice it? Besides, I was wearing these plastic gloves.
B: I don't want it! Give me bread and cheese! and in little squares!
That little peepsqueak! she's only 10 so I give it to her.
B: I hate crusts.
Remove crusts.
B: Not hungry.
Then I explode.
Me: Here's your sandwich!
Then her lip wobbles and next thing I know, she's crying and throwing a tantrum and wailing so much!

Then my friend hurries over and then her mother comes and happens to fetch her and she rushes over to her "little darling baby, did that mean old girl scare you" and instead of apologising for B slamming the sandwich on my shirt, she glares at me. She begins her lecture on how nobody should hurt her and i stand there dripping in jam.

I feel so totally busted. Graduation Tea. All I can think about.

I am in a whirl here okay? I need A LOT of polishing up and I still don't have the CD yet because I don't have a spare CD and anyway, I don't know how to burn a CD. Okay, I do. And, like, the rehearsal is only hours away, people, can you see how PANICKY I am???

Maybe I should haggle the rehearsal to Friday. See, today is Tuesday, right? So, I can go out on Thursday so on Friday I'll be completely 100... 99% ready for the rehearsal. Maybe even full-dress. Looks better. Or else I'll look like a dork.

Please don't patronize me when I do it, okay? Because if you do, I'm going to get an anxiety attack and I'll so totally be in the danger zone at the bottom of my confidence level.

classmates,guess what,MRS REDWAN MADE A BIG MISTAKE!ok its like this,on the National Day Celebrations day,we had to make our orders for the class photos right?then the size was either 3R or 6R rite?the size is WRONG.the pricing is as follows.....

1. 5R size photo with lamination -- $3 per piece

2.8R size photo with lamination -- $6 per piece

so our orders are WRONG.someone just inform Mrs Redwan tomorrow okay?
